QUEZON City – Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle of Manila has a word of advice for parishes and religious communities: Drop individualism and work together.

Speaking at “The Word Exposed” Pentecost recollection at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, he warned against an individualistic mindset in the Church, one that creates division.

“I really hope that we shun individualism in the parishes and even in the religious communities,” said the prelate.

Among the thousands of crowd who attended the recollection were priests, the religious, and seminarians.

The cardinal reminded that “our conversion to the Holy Spirit is for us to become men and women of communion”.

He also said that church communities must serve as a venue for different gifts to serve the common good and in the spirit of oneness. Niceforo Vince A. Balbedina III/CBCPNews
