Praise single releases hype up One Praise 3 concert
The One Praise movement aims to gather Filipino Catholic charismatic groups dedicated to the production and sharing of modern praise and worship songs.

The online release of a series of original Filipino praise-and-worship singles, featuring some of “the most well-loved and up-and-coming charismatic music groups in the country,” is in anticipation of the upcoming One Praise 3 concert.
Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon’s “Shepherd of my Soul” was released on Sept. 28 via Spotify’s official playlist, New Music Friday Philippines.
Also set to debut their original songs are:
- Christ’s Youth Action,
- Elim Music Ministry,
- Light of Jesus,
- The Lord’s Flock,
- Simply 4 Him,
The successive releases, which started in July, are meant to drum up excitement for the much-awaited One Praise 3, A Worship Concert, set on Oct. 20 at the Ateneo de Manila High School Covered Courts. Jesuit Music Ministry targets the release of the complete third One Praise album by April 2019.
Spearheaded by former Jesuit Music Minsitry director Fr. Roseller Atilano SJ, the One Praise movement features “a gathering of proudly Filipino Catholic charismatic groups dedicated to the production and sharing of modern praise and worship songs.”
According to a press release by Jesuit Communications, JMM’s “outstanding contribution to the emerging sound of Filipino Christian contemporary music” was acknowledged when the first One Praise album bagged the Catholic Mass Media Award for Best Inspirational Album in 2016.
