Conscious of the need for New Evangelization, Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle invites young people to the upcoming Singles & Youth Faith on Fire (SYFOF) 2018 entitled “Relentless 2” on June 30, 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Araneta Coliseum.

“The ‘Relentless I’ aftermath has already spread to several dioceses and many parishes and it is our prayer that more and more Catholic youth will catch this new fire happening in our Church,” said the prelate in an official endorsement of the event sent to bishops, moderators and coordinators of youth groups, parish priests, and youth leaders.

According to Tagle, “Relentless 2” is a response to the challenge he posed to them last year when he asked the youth attendees of “Relentless” in Filipino: “Do you want to have this event again?”

”We shall continue to pursue New Evangelization especially for the next generation who shall be prepare for their time,” added the prelate.

Last year, around 15,000 youth and singles gathered for the Singles & Youth Faith on Fire (SYFOF) 2017 entitled “Relentless.“

Aside from Tagle, Cubao Bishop Honesto Ongtioco and other members of the clergy are also expected to join “Relentless 2.”

”This will surely help thousands of young souls who need enlightenment and direction in their lives, who are very future of our Church and of our society and we are looking forward to having fellowship with you and your staff in this momentous occasion,” reads an official invite from the organizer The Lord’s Flock.

The event is free and open to the public.
