Archbishop Gabriele Caccia, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, will join a huge gathering of Catholics in Palawan province on Nov. 30.
Highlighting this year’s “Bugsayan”, the papal nuncio will preside over a Mass at the Puerto Princesa City Coliseum at 11 am.
Concelebrants include Bishop Socrates Mesiona of Puerto Princesa with his clergy and priests from the Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay.
Bishop Mesiona is inviting all the faithful to attend the celebration “and show to the Nuncio the warmth of our Catholic faith”.
First held in 2014, Bugsayan is the vicariate’s largest event held every year wherein thousands of people from 32 parishes are expected to attend.
This year’s theme is “Grateful for the Faith: We receive. We celebrate. We live. We Proclaim.”
