The Archdiocese of San Fernando’s Mother of Good Counsel Seminary took the virtual stage to sing a tribute for Covid-19 frontliners.

The members of the Magnificat Seminary Choir sang “Fishers of Men” from their homes amid the quarantine to thank the health workers and other frontliners for their “selfless” service in the ongoing battle against coronavirus.

“But you are blessed because you have chosen to stand beside the Lord’s cross, the way of sacrifice for the good of all,” said Fr. Eisen John Cruz, choir director.

The seminarians also offer the song for those suffering from the virus and the poor who are struggling from the lockdown brought about by the pandemic.

Posted on the seminary’s Facebook page, the video also honors “all generous givers who never get tired of sharing your gifts”.

“Discipleship entails sacrifice. Let these trying times be moments of blessing for everything in the end is grace,” Fr. Cruz said.
